Triumph use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to check compatibility of a part or accessory with a bike. Specifically, it is the last 6 of the VIN that are of interest. The VIN can be found in a number of places, but usually you’ll be able to it on a plate attached to the bike, stamped on to the frame or in the documentation that came with your bike.
It may be the case that a part or accessory may only be compatible with bikes up to a VIN number (> 123456), with a particular VIN range (123456 > 987654) or from a VIN number (123456 >)
