Almost every bike that runs in the USA has a brake light and indicator combination which activates the turn signals in addition to the brake light. Adapting an imported bike to the EU regulations requires quite some modifications, which can be very tricky and expensive. This taillight conversion module is a microcontroller based solution that converts the two signals coming from the BCM (Body Control Module) into four separate outputs for brake light, taillight and left and right turn signals. There is no easier way to convert a domestic CAN-Bus equipped US model to the requirements of the EU.
