Designers notes

For Bloc we wanted to create trousers that are more flexible than you are and would never hold you back mid-climb. A diamond-shape gusseted crotch, articulated knees and a touch of spandex in the fabric all help to keep the limbs loose. The fabric also allowed a slimmer fit than standard so you can see where youre placing your toes.

Climbing trousers need to be durable, especially if being subjected to rough Peak District grit. Cotton is a naturally hard-wearing material so was the obvious choice. We finished Bloc with a simple, low-profile elastic waistband thats easy on and comfortable with a harness. Four pockets mean you dont have to leave valuables hanging around.
