Sonder Nova 650bs are our durable disc brake wheelset built for gravel and road adventures. Wide-tyred, tough, and versatile. Plain-gauge spokes mean that the Novas will stay strong when you load your bike up with luggage. Sealed bearings make them easy to look after. And a steel free-hub body with 12mm thru-axels will take years of abuse.

Weve used a 4-pawl freehub for instant acceleration and maximum pedalling efficiency. With faster engagement, the wheels respond the minute you put the hammer down and save wasted watts.

23mm wide the Alpha 650b wheels are optimised up to 47mm road or 2.2″ MTB tyres. By using wider tubeless tyres youll be able to run lower pressures, giving you even better traction, improved comfort and reduced risk of pinched punctures. While theyre light, they stay super-strong because of a shorter spoke triangle.

We lace, build and finish all our wheels in our Nottingham factory, with each one getting a full quality control inspection. Weve brought the build process in house from overseas to enable us to produce something truly special. We can over see the whole construction of our wheels and keep quality consistent, production efficient and reduce the impact on the planet by not shipping boxes of wheels around the world.
