The Spur is a derailleur hanger extension that lets you use your existing rear mech to run wider gear ranges.

The Spur allows riders to convert their road, gravel, cyclocross, or commuter drivetrain to a 1x system with a single chainring without giving up the gear range of a double. Its also perfect for riders who simply want to run a bigger cassette to get lower gearing for those really big climbs. With the spur you can go up to a 40T cassette without having to buy a new rear derailleur and without compromising the shifting on the smaller cogs.

A few general points…

• Double chainrings are only supported with GS (medium cage) rear derailleurs.
• The Spur mounts only to standard derailleur hangers – direct mount frames are not supported.
• Triple chainrings are not supported.
